Welcome to aRUBatherapy. My name is Kim Treinen and I am the founder and CEO of this amazing company. I started aRUBatherapy back in 2015 in Omaha, Nebraska. Since getting married in April of 2018, the company has moved to NW Iowa...a beautiful town called LeMars, Iowa, affectionately known as the "Ice Cream Capital of the World."
Why start a business...
Why start a business when starting a business seems so difficult and daunting. Well...I'm going to be completely transparent with you. I was a teacher for 18 years, and in December of 2012, I had a surgery that left me unable to teach. What was I going to do with my life? I certainly wasn't going to give up. I needed to find something to do that would fit my needs and my schedule. With the help and encouragement of a friend in Seattle, I decided to pursue a passion and dream of mine...and I created and developed this company.
